Pest Inspection
Home pest control across DFW, from a local exterminator.
Common in DFW
The roach in the kitchen often lives inside a wall void, and the ant trail on the counter can lead to a nest outside. A spray along the baseboards kills the bugs that cross it and leaves both colonies alive. So a DFW Pest Guard visit starts by finding the colony, indoors or out in the yard.

Pest Inspection
Products made from natural ingredients, placed only where the pests hide. Before you choose organic pest control, the inspection tells you whether it will work on what you have.
Organic Treatment
Fire ants build their mounds in the lawn, and crawling insects shelter in the shady beds before they cross into the house. Treating the beds and the strip along the foundation keeps more of them outside.
Yard Treatment
Termites swarming out of a wall, or roaches in every cabinet the week guests arrive. Call at any hour, and you find out how soon a technician can come.

Where termites reach the wood
Winged insects around a lamp on a warm March afternoon, and shed wings on the floor by morning. Those are most likely termite swarmers. The inspection then looks for the mud tubes the colony builds up the foundation to reach the wood.Termite swarmersA typical late-March call
Tell us what you are seeing and in which rooms, so the exterminator who comes out knows where to start looking.
We go room by room, then up into the attic and out to the yard. You see what turned up, such as mud tubes on the slab edge or a gap around a pipe.
You get the price for the whole job. Nothing is applied until you say yes.
Each product goes where the pest lives or travels. For roaches, that usually means bait in the gaps where they hide.
After the visit you get the findings in writing, with every product named next to the spot where it went. Keep them with the house papers.
We point out what draws pests in, like mulch piled against the house or daylight under a door. Fixing those leaves the next ones fewer ways in.

There is no flat price, because the pest and the house decide it. One fire ant mound by the driveway is a short visit; termites along the whole edge of a slab take far more product and time. The inspection shows which job you have, and the price comes before any treatment starts.
Sometimes. Store bait often clears a short trail of ants on a kitchen counter. It rarely reaches roaches living inside the walls, and it does nothing for termites in the soil. If the bugs keep coming back, call DFW Pest Guard at (972) 573-9907.
It depends on the day’s bookings and on where you live. Call any time, day or night, and the person who answers tells you the earliest opening.
Yes. Roaches and ants often cross the beds along the foundation before they get indoors, so the inspection covers the outside as well. Any yard treatment it calls for is included in the price.
No, only the places the inspection points to. Roaches under the kitchen sink mean baiting that cabinet, while ants trailing in from the yard are usually treated where they nest outside. This way of working is called integrated pest management, or IPM, and it is the reason we look before we treat.
Yes. An apartment or a townhome gets the same inspection and treatment as a house.
Yes. Texas requires a structural pest control business license for this work, and liability insurance for licensed companies. We hold both.
The FAQ page covers how long kids and pets stay off a treated area and how to get the house ready.
